Agen Rugby Club was established back in 1908 by dentists who worked in the local area. Despite the club’s unique beginnings, the side was highly competitive and it took less than 30 years for them to win their first ever championship. In fact, the 1930s became a golden era for the club. As well as capturing their first ever French championship in 1930, they also won the Challenge Yves du Manoir in 1932 and finished as runners-up in 1933.
